WHO ARE WE?

Retinitis Pigmentosa Society Singapore (RPSS) was officially registered with the Registry of Society on 1st February 2002.

Retinitis Pigmentosa Society Singapore (RPSS) is organized and served by volunteers and members who help organize Support Group meetings, talks and activities for any individual diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa. Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) individuals together with their family members and love ones meet and share their experiences and raise any problems and difficulties that they encounter in their daily living. We advise and encourage one another on how to cope, manage and possibly help overcome with the obstacles and barriers.

OUR OBJECTIVES

• To provide information and support to individuals with Retinitis Pigmentosa, or other similar inherited retinal dystrophies, and their family members.
• To promote awareness about Retinitis Pigmentosa and other similar inherited retinal dystrophies.
• To promote and encourage research into Retinitis Pigmentosa and other similar inherited dystrophies.
• To establish links and to co-operate with other institutions, organizations, and other societies in Singapore and overseas, that are concerned with Retinitis Pigmentosa and other similar inherited retinal dystrophies.
